  1. Conduct IT audits to assess the security and effectiveness of the state's information technology systems.
  2. Analyze data and information to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and improve the overall security of the systems.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and agencies to gather information and provide recommendations for improvement.
  5. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of IT security and risk management.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and policies related to IT security and risk management.
  9. Train and educate employees on IT security best practices and procedures.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT audits.
  11. Work independently and take ownership of assigned projects and tasks.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide timely updates on audit progress and results.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  14. Adhere to ethical and professional standards while carrying out audit responsibilities.
  15. Support the mission of the State of Pennsylvania to protect and enhance the digital infrastructure of the state.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In It Auditing Or A Related Field.

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (Cisa) Certification.

  • Strong Knowledge Of It Governance, Risk Management, And Compliance Frameworks Such As Cobit And Iso 27001.

  • Excellent Communication And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Report On Potential It Risks And Vulnerabilities.
