Knowledge Of State And Federal Firearms Laws And Regulations: A Firearms Background Specialist At State Of Pennsylvania Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of All Laws And Regulations Related To Firearms, Including Background Check Procedures And Requirements.
Experience In Conducting Background Checks: This Position Requires Experience In Conducting Background Checks, Including Criminal History, Mental Health, And Domestic Violence Checks. Knowledge Of Databases Such As Nics And Pics Is Also Essential.
Attention To Detail: A Firearms Background Specialist Must Have A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Thorough Background Checks Are Conducted. This Includes Reviewing And Verifying Information, Identifying Potential Red Flags, And Properly Documenting All Findings.
