  1. Serve as the primary technical advisor for fire services in the State of Pennsylvania, providing expert knowledge and guidance to fire departments throughout the state.
  2. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to fire services, and disseminate this information to relevant stakeholders.
  3. Develop and implement training programs and materials for fire departments, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively respond to emergencies.
  4. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of fire department operations, equipment, and protocols to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for corrective action.
  5. Serve as a liaison between state agencies and local fire departments, advocating for the needs and interests of fire services and coordinating resources and support as needed.
  6. Collaborate with other emergency response agencies and organizations to develop and maintain a coordinated approach to emergency management.
  7. Provide technical assistance and support to fire departments during emergency situations, including on-site response and remote guidance.
  8. Analyze data and trends related to fire services in the state, and use this information to inform decision-making and policy development.
  9. Represent the state at relevant conferences, workshops, and meetings, sharing knowledge and expertise with other professionals in the field.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of emergency preparedness and response plans at the state and local levels, ensuring that fire services are integrated and coordinated with other agencies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Fire Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Fire Services, Preferably In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Fire Safety Codes And Regulations, Including Nfpa And State-Specific Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Advise Others.

  • Valid Driver's License And Ability To Travel To Various Locations Within The State For Training And Consultation Purposes.
