- Implement and maintain the state's Early Learning Program certification processes and regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact for early childhood education programs seeking certification, providing guidance and support throughout the certification process.
- Evaluate and review certification applications and documentation to ensure compliance with state standards and regulations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections of early learning programs to assess their quality and adherence to certification requirements.
- Collaborate with other state agencies and organizations to stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for improvements to the certification process.
- Educate and inform early childhood education programs and stakeholders about the importance of certification and the benefits it provides for young children.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of certification applications, approvals, and denials.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns from stakeholders regarding the certification process and provide timely and helpful resolutions.
- Conduct trainings and workshops for early childhood education providers to ensure understanding and compliance with certification requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the Early Learning Program certification process.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the certification program and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Uphold the values and mission of the State of Pennsylvania's Early Learning Program and represent the program in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or A Related Field.
Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations For Early Learning Programs.
Experience Working In A Leadership Or Administrative Role In An Early Learning Program.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Program Directors And Staff.
Certification Or Licensure In Early Childhood Education Or A Related Field, Such As A Child Development Associate (Cda) Or Director Credential.
