  • Collaborate with county agencies and community organizations to identify and assess the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs and preferences of individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and make recommendations for improvements
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities, their families, and caregivers
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to intellectual disabilities and ensure compliance within programs
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, trainings, and workshops for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their support networks
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records and reports on program activities, budget, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other county and state agencies to secure funding and resources for programs and services
  • Provide support and guidance to program staff and ensure they have the necessary training and resources to carry out their responsibilities effectively
  • Continuously seek opportunities for program growth and improvement to better serve individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working With Individuals With Intellectual Disabilities, Preferably In A Program Management Or Supervisory Role.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Intellectual Disabilities Services And Programs.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Individuals, Families, And Other Professionals.

  • Experience In Program Planning, Development, And Implementation, With A Focus On Person-Centered And Community-Based Approaches.
