
Adult Basic Literacy Education Advisor

- Conduct initial assessments to determine the literacy level and educational needs of adult learners.
- Develop individualized education plans for each learner, based on their goals and abilities.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners throughout their educational journey.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage and motivate learners.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track learner progress, and make adjustments to education plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in adult education.
- Conduct outreach and recruitment efforts to attract new learners to the program.
- Communicate regularly with learners, their families, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to program policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Serve as a positive role model and advocate for adult learners in the community.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and diversity within the program.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the program to meet the changing needs of learners and the community.
Bachelor's Degree In Education, Adult Education, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Adult Basic Literacy Education.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations And Guidelines Related To Adult Basic Education Programs.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Adult Learners, Educators, And Community Stakeholders.
Experience In Curriculum Development, Program Evaluation, And Data Analysis To Assess The Effectiveness Of Literacy Programs.
