- Monitor and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from students, faculty, and staff for service and assistance.
- Operate and maintain various communication systems, including radios, telephones, and computer-aided dispatch systems.
- Coordinate and dispatch appropriate law enforcement, fire, and medical response to emergency situations on campus.
- Monitor and maintain security camera systems and alarm systems on campus.
- Conduct routine patrols of campus buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security.
- Respond to and investigate reports of suspicious activity, safety hazards, and criminal incidents.
- Provide assistance and support to other law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all calls for service and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse community, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the university in a professional and respectful manner.
- Attend and participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all university and department policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other university departments and individuals to promote a safe and secure campus environment.

High School Diploma Or Ged: The Candidate Must Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Position. This Ensures That The Individual Has A Basic Education And Is Able To Understand And Communicate Effectively.
Prior Experience In Security Or Law Enforcement: To Be Considered For This Position, Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Security Or Law Enforcement. This Could Include Work As A Security Guard, Police Officer, Or In A Similar Role. This Experience Will Help The Candidate Understand The Unique Challenges And Responsibilities Of The Job.
