  1. Review and analyze unemployment insurance claims to ensure accuracy and eligibility for financial support.
  2. Process and maintain confidential information related to unemployment insurance claims.
  3. Communicate with claimants and employers to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies.
  4. Utilize various computer systems and software to input and track data related to unemployment insurance claims.
  5. Stay up-to-date on state and federal regulations and policies related to unemployment insurance.
  6. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to claimants by addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation of claimant information and activities.
  9. Attend training and development sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to the position.
  10. Adhere to all confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive information.
  11. Follow departmental procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  12. Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  13. Represent the State of New York in a professional manner and uphold its values and mission.
  14. Continuously strive to improve the unemployment insurance process and services for the community.
  15. Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.
