  1. Monitor and evaluate compliance with state and federal regulations related to developmental disabilities services.
  2. Conduct regular audits and reviews of service providers to ensure adherence to standards.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and agencies to develop and implement compliance strategies and initiatives.
  4. Investigate and address complaints or concerns regarding potential violations of standards and regulations.
  5. Provide guidance and support to service providers to promote understanding and compliance with regulations.
  6. Maintain thorough and accurate records of compliance activities and findings.
  7. Prepare and present reports on compliance status and recommendations for improvement.
  8. Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and make necessary adjustments to compliance procedures.
  9. Serve as a resource for staff, service providers, and individuals with developmental disabilities regarding compliance and regulations.
  10. Conduct training and education sessions to promote awareness and understanding of compliance requirements.
  11. Participate in meetings and committees related to developmental disabilities services and compliance.
  12. Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to share best practices and ensure consistency in compliance efforts.
  13. Make recommendations for policy and procedure changes to improve compliance and quality of care.
  14. Uphold the rights and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities and advocate for their needs and interests.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Social Work, Psychology, Or Special Education.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Developmental Disabilities, Such As The Americans With Disabilities Act (Ada) And Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (Idea).

  • Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities, Including Knowledge Of Best Practices And Person-Centered Approaches.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Regulations And Policies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Effectively Communicate Compliance Requirements.
