Job Description

  1. Conduct individual assessments to determine clients' needs and develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
  2. Provide counseling and support services to clients with disabilities, including but not limited to mental health, physical, and developmental disabilities.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
  4. Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Provide guidance and support to clients in developing life skills, such as job readiness, communication, and problem-solving.
  6. Connect clients with community resources and services to enhance their rehabilitation process.
  7. Advocate for clients' rights and assist them in navigating the legal system, if needed.
  8. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of clients' progress and treatment plans.
  9. Stay informed about current rehabilitation techniques and resources to ensure the most effective support for clients.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients.
  11. Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to develop and implement programs aiming to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities.
  12. Attend trainings, workshops, and conferences to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
  13. Participate in team meetings and provide insight and feedback on clients' progress and treatment plans.
  14. Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, their families, and other team members.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of the organization and promote a positive and inclusive environment for clients.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Providing Vocational And/Or Mental Health Counseling To Individuals With Disabilities.

  • Certification As A Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (Crc) Or Ability To Obtain Certification Within 6 Months Of Employment.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Vocational Rehabilitation, Disability Rights, And Employment Services.

  • Strong Communication, Counseling, And Case Management Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams.
