- Develop and implement public health programs and initiatives to improve the health and well-being of the community.
- Stay up-to-date on current public health trends, research, and best practices to inform program development and decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess community needs and develop targeted strategies to address public health issues.
- Conduct research and data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide expertise and guidance to other team members on public health issues and strategies.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders to support public health initiatives.
- Communicate and disseminate information about public health programs and initiatives to various audiences, including community members, policymakers, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to public health programs.
- Participate in the development and management of program budgets and grants.
- Act as a liaison between the state health department and local public health agencies to facilitate collaboration and coordination of efforts.
- Stay informed of emerging public health threats and assist in developing emergency response plans.
- Represent the state health department at meetings, conferences, and other events related to public health.
- Continuously assess and improve upon processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness of public health initiatives.
- Mentor and train junior staff members on public health principles and practices.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health Or A Related Field
Knowledge Of Public Health Principles, Practices, And Methods
Familiarity With State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Public Health
