- Ensuring compliance with all department policies and procedures.
- Assisting with medication inventory management and ordering.

- Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Serving as a resource for other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related questions and concerns.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Attending continuing education programs and maintaining licensure and certifications.
- Representing the Department of Health and promoting its mission and values to the community.
A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution.
A Current And Valid License To Practice Pharmacy In The State Of New York.
Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Governing Pharmacy Practice.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
Experience In Dispensing And Compounding Medications, As Well As Knowledge Of Drug Interactions And Dosage Calculations.
