Parks and Recreation Aide 3

1. Assist in the management and maintenance of various parks and recreational facilities throughout the State of New York.
2. Preserve and protect natural resources within the parks and recreational areas.
3. Provide exceptional customer service to visitors by answering questions, providing information, and addressing concerns.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of parks and recreational facilities.
5. Assist in the planning and execution of events and activities within the parks.
6. Monitor and enforce park rules and regulations to ensure safety and enjoyment for all visitors.
7. Assist with the collection and reporting of data and statistics related to park usage.
8. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve department goals and objectives.
9. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning restrooms, picking up trash, and repairing equipment.
10. Communicate effectively with park visitors, coworkers, and supervisors.
11. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
12. Continuously strive for personal and professional growth by participating in trainings and workshops.
13. Show a strong work ethic and dependability by being punctual and completing tasks efficiently.
14. Represent the State of New York Parks and Recreation team in a positive and professional manner.
15. Adhere to all state and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to parks and recreation.
