
Parks and Recreation Aide

- Maintain and preserve parks and recreational facilities: Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of the parks and recreational facilities under the guidance of park management.
- Provide exceptional customer service: Greet and assist visitors, answer questions, and provide information about park amenities and activities.
- Assist with park operations: Assist with tasks such as collecting fees, maintaining records, and enforcing park rules and regulations.
- Participate in park maintenance: Help with tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and cleaning to keep the parks and facilities in top condition.
- Support park programs and events: Assist with organizing and executing events and programs, such as nature hikes, educational workshops, and community events.
- Ensure safety and security: Monitor park areas and facilities to ensure the safety and security of visitors and report any safety concerns or incidents to park management.
- Work as part of a team: Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Demonstrate a love for nature: Serve as a role model for visitors by demonstrating a deep appreciation for and commitment to preserving nature and wildlife.
- Follow policies and procedures: Adhere to all park policies and procedures, including safety protocols and guidelines for the use of equipment and facilities.
- Continuously improve: Seek out opportunities for personal and professional growth, and actively contribute ideas for improving park operations and visitor experiences.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Parks And Recreation Aide Job Would Be A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Capable Of Understanding And Following Instructions.
Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Having Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Such As Working In A Park Or Recreational Facility, Can Be Beneficial For A Parks And Recreation Aide Job.
