
Park Manager 2

- Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of a designated state park
- Ensure a welcoming and positive experience for all visitors to the park
- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote conservation and recreation within the park
- Manage park staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Monitor and manage park budget and resources effectively
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to address any issues or concerns related to the park
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repairs, and improvements within the park
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure the safety of visitors and protection of natural resources
- Plan and execute special events and programs to engage and educate the community about the park
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the park is well-maintained and in compliance with all regulations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in park management
- Serve as a representative of the park and the Department of Parks and Recreation at meetings and events.
Bachelor's Degree In Parks And Recreation Management, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Park Management, Including Experience Managing Staff And Budgets.
Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Park Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Staff, Visitors, And Stakeholders.
Strong Leadership And Problem-Solving Abilities To Oversee Daily Operations And Address Any Issues That May Arise.
