
Park Manager 1

- Oversee and maintain the operations of one of our state parks, ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
- Develop and implement strategies to preserve and enhance the natural beauty and resources of the park.
- Manage and supervise park staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate events, activities, and maintenance projects.
- Monitor and manage park budget, including forecasting and allocating funds for necessary improvements and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with visitors, staff, and stakeholders to provide information, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors.
- Conduct regular inspections of the park to identify any potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans in case of natural disasters or other emergencies.
- Stay informed about current trends, issues, and regulations related to park management and make recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a representative of the park and the department at community events and meetings.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance and support to park staff.
- Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to promote the park and increase visitor engagement.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on park operations, including attendance, revenue, and maintenance logs.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve park operations and visitor experience.
Bachelor's Degree In Parks And Recreation, Natural Resource Management, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Park Management Or A Similar Role.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Park Operations And Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders.
Strong Leadership And Problem-Solving Abilities, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.
