
Offender Rehabilitation Coordinator

- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for offenders to aid in successful reintegration into society.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for offenders based on their specific needs and risks.
- Collaborate with other members of the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to offender rehabilitation.
- Monitor and track the progress of offenders in rehabilitation programs and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide counseling and support to offenders to help them address underlying issues and challenges that may contribute to criminal behavior.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops to address topics such as anger management, substance abuse, and life skills.
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to offenders on their progress in rehabilitation programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources to provide additional support and resources for offenders.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in offender rehabilitation to continuously improve programs and services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of offender progress and program effectiveness.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members to ensure a collaborative and effective approach to offender rehabilitation.
- Adhere to all department policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards in working with offenders.
- Serve as a positive role model for offenders and promote a pro-social and responsible attitude towards their rehabilitation.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in offender rehabilitation.
- Represent the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision in a professional and positive manner, both internally and externally.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Correctional Or Rehabilitation Setting.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices For Offender Rehabilitation And Recidivism Reduction.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Offenders, Their Families, And Other Professionals.
Familiarity With Relevant State And Federal Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To Offender Rehabilitation And Reentry.
