  1. Conduct research and analysis on the state's mineral resources to inform resource management decisions.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for the sustainable use and conservation of mineral resources.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the impact of mineral resource extraction and development on the environment.
  4. Collaborate with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and community groups to ensure responsible management of mineral resources.
  5. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to mineral resources and make recommendations for compliance.
  6. Conduct field surveys and collect data on mineral resources, including geological features and mineral deposits.
  7. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.
  8. Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and other staff members on mineral resource management issues.
  9. Participate in meetings, conferences, and workshops to stay informed on developments in the field and share knowledge with others.
  10. Monitor and track permits and licenses related to mineral resource development and ensure compliance with regulations.
  11. Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities to mineral resources and develop plans to mitigate them.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including landowners, industry representatives, and environmental groups.
  13. Support the development and implementation of policies and programs that promote responsible mineral resource management.
  14. Maintain accurate records and databases of mineral resource data and information.
  15. Conduct training and education programs for the public on mineral resource management and conservation.

Job Qualifications
