As an Investigative Analyst, you will play a critical role in conducting thorough and accurate investigations, collecting and analyzing evidence, and providing valuable insights to support our law enforcement efforts.   1. Conduct thorough and accurate investigations into various cases, utilizing a variety of resources and techniques.
  2. Gather and analyze evidence, including but not limited to witness statements, documents, and physical evidence, to support investigative efforts.
  3. Utilize advanced analytical skills to identify patterns, trends, and connections between various pieces of evidence.
  4. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other relevant parties to obtain information and coordinate efforts.
  5. Prepare comprehensive and detailed reports on investigation findings, including recommendations for further action.
  6. Maintain accurate and organized records of all investigative activities and evidence collected.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current laws, regulations, and investigative practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  8. Conduct interviews and interrogations with potential suspects and witnesses, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
  9. Assist in the preparation of legal documents, such as warrants and subpoenas, as needed.
  10. Present findings and evidence in court or other legal proceedings, as required.
  11. Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information and evidence.
  13. Collaborate with team members and provide support as needed to ensure timely and efficient completion of investigations.
  14. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of the State of New York and promote a safe and just society through investigative work.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Or A Related Field
