- Conducting and coordinating all aspects of the recruitment and selection process for various positions within the State of New York.
- Administering pre-employment tests and assessments to potential candidates, ensuring fair and unbiased evaluations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all job openings, applicants, and employee information.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Assisting with the creation and maintenance of job descriptions, job postings, and other recruitment materials.
- Conducting background checks and verifying references for potential candidates.
- Coordinating and facilitating new employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Providing guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assisting with the maintenance and updating of HR databases and systems.
- Staying up-to-date on HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of employee engagement events and initiatives.
- Participating in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Providing excellent customer service to all employees and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrating a commitment to promoting a positive and respectful work culture.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Organizational Development, Or A Related Field.
Previous Experience In Hr Testing And Assessment, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Hr Laws, Regulations, And Best Practices.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Teams And Communicate Effectively With Stakeholders At All Levels.
