- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during recreational activities.

- Maintain equipment and supplies necessary for recreational programs.

- Demonstrate a commitment to promoting inclusion and accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to recreational therapy.
- Continuously assess and improve program offerings to meet the evolving needs of clients.
- Provide support and guidance to volunteers and other staff members assisting with recreational programs.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving overall program effectiveness.
Certification As A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (Ctrs) By The National Council For Therapeutic Recreation Certification (Nctrc).
Bachelor's Degree In Recreation Therapy Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Recreation Therapy Setting, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Rehabilitation Facility.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Techniques In Recreation Therapy, Including Assessment, Treatment Planning, And Documentation.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations And Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team.
