High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Educational Qualification Is Typically Required For A Highway Maintenance Worker Position At The State Of New York.
Valid Driver's License: The Individual Should Possess A Valid Driver's License As They Will Be Required To Operate Various Types Of Equipment And Vehicles On The Highway.
Experience In Highway Maintenance: Previous Experience In Highway Maintenance, Construction, Or Other Related Fields Is Often Preferred For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Safety Procedures, Road Maintenance Techniques, And The Operation Of Heavy Equipment.
