Job Description

  13. Provide guidance and recommendations to state agencies regarding legal matters and procedures.
  14. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  15. Act as a neutral and unbiased party in all hearings.

Job Qualifications
  • Admission To The New York State Bar Association.

  • A Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, Preferably In The Areas Of Administrative Law, Labor And Employment Law, Or Civil Litigation.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Conduct Fair And Impartial Hearings And Effectively Communicate Decisions To Parties Involved.

  • Familiarity With Applicable State And Federal Laws, Regulations, And Procedures Related To The Hearing Process.
