- Conduct comprehensive surveys of health care facilities to assess compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Review and analyze facility policies, procedures, and records to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate with facility staff and leadership to provide guidance and education on regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
- Stay informed and up-to-date on changes in regulations and policies related to health care facilities.
- Utilize technology and data systems to document survey findings and track progress.
- Serve as a resource for facility staff and the public regarding regulations and best practices in health care.
- Conduct investigations and respond to complaints related to health care facilities.
- Represent the department at meetings, conferences, and other events to promote and educate on regulatory compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure coordinated efforts in promoting quality health care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to improve the survey process.
- Continuously evaluate and improve survey methods and tools to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree In A Health-Related Field Such As Nursing, Public Health, Or Health Administration.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Supervisory Or Quality Improvement Role.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Healthcare Facilities, Including But Not Limited To Medicare And Medicaid Guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Healthcare Professionals, Facility Staff, And Patients.
Certification As A Certified Professional In Healthcare Quality (Cphq) Or Similar Accreditation Is Preferred.
