  3. Collaborate with law enforcement: Work closely with law enforcement agencies to gather and analyze evidence, provide guidance on forensic techniques, and assist in the development of investigative strategies.
  4. Maintain laboratory standards: Adhere to strict laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure the integrity of evidence and accuracy of results.
  5. Stay up-to-date with advancements: Stay current with new developments and advancements in the field of forensic science, and implement new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
  6. Manage evidence: Properly handle, store, and maintain evidence in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  7. Analyze and interpret data: Analyze and interpret data and evidence collected from crime scenes, using specialized equipment and techniques.
  8. Write reports: Prepare detailed and accurate reports documenting findings and conclusions from scientific analysis.
  9. Train and mentor junior staff: Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members, ensuring their adherence to proper protocols and procedures.
  10. Maintain confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all evidence and case information in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Forensic Science, Chemistry, Biology, Or A Related Field.

  • A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Forensic Laboratory, With At Least 3 Years At A Supervisory Or Managerial Level.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Forensic Laboratory Techniques, Instrumentation, And Procedures.

  • Certification By A Recognized Forensic Science Professional Organization, Such As The American Board Of Criminalistics Or The American Board Of Forensic Toxicology.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Findings In Written And Oral Reports.
