- Collect and analyze data on fish and wildlife populations, habitat conditions, and other environmental factors.
- Conduct field surveys and assist with research projects related to fish and wildlife management and conservation.
- Provide support to biologists and other professionals by assisting with data collection, organization, and analysis.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in field and laboratory settings, including GPS devices, cameras, and sampling tools.
- Monitor and document changes in fish and wildlife populations and habitat conditions.
- Participate in habitat restoration and wildlife management activities, such as planting vegetation and constructing wildlife structures.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials related to fish and wildlife management and conservation.
- Communicate with the public, stakeholders, and other agencies to provide information and education on fish and wildlife conservation efforts.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the field and laboratory.
- Stay informed about current research, techniques, and regulations related to fish and wildlife management and conservation.
Familiarity With State And Federal Regulations Related To Fish And Wildlife Management.
A Bachelor's Degree In Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge And Experience In Conducting Field Research And Data Collection Techniques.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Working With Diverse Stakeholders Such As Landowners, Hunters, And Government Agencies.
Ability To Operate And Maintain Equipment Used For Fish And Wildlife Management, Such As Gps Devices, Cameras, And Traps.
