  1. Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a secure care setting.
  2. Assist in the treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with developmental disabilities.
  3. Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in the care of the facility.
  4. Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions.
  5. Monitor and document individual progress and behaviors.
  6. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members.
  7. Collaborate with other staff members and professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  8. Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for individuals.
  9. Follow all policies, procedures, and protocols of the facility.
  10. Attend training and development programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all interactions with individuals and their families.
  12. Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and their families.
  13. Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
  14. Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
  15. Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
  16. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals and their families.
  17. Handle crises and emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
  18. Uphold the values and mission of the organization.
  19. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all activities and interactions.
  20. Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and interventions.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Candidate For This Position Must Possess A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, Such As A Ged Certificate.

  • Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities: Previous Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities Is Preferred, As This Position Requires Providing Care And Support To Individuals With Various Developmental Disabilities.

  • Valid Driver's License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Driver's License As This Position May Require Transporting Individuals To Appointments Or Activities.

  • Cpr And First Aid Certification: A Current Certification In Cpr And First Aid Is Required, As This Position Involves Responding To Medical Emergencies And Providing Basic Medical Care To Individuals.

  • Ability To Pass A Background Check: Due To The Nature Of The Job, Candidates Must Be Able To Pass A Background Check, Including A Criminal History Record Check And Fingerprinting.
