- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a secure treatment setting.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals by following established protocols and procedures.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other members of the treatment team.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Document and report any changes or concerns in an individual's behavior or health to appropriate personnel.
- Attend and actively participate in trainings and meetings to learn about developmental disabilities and treatment techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized living and working environment for individuals.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and personal growth for individuals.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and colleagues to ensure quality care and services.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required For This Position To Ensure Basic Educational Competency.
Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities: Previous Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities, Either Through Volunteer Work Or Employment, Is Preferred.
Cpr And First Aid Certification: A Valid Cpr And First Aid Certification Is Required For This Position To Ensure The Safety And Well-Being Of Clients.
Knowledge Of Developmental Disabilities: Candidates Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Developmental Disabilities And The Challenges Faced By Individuals With These Conditions.
Ability To Pass Background Checks: As This Position Involves Working With Vulnerable Individuals, Candidates Must Be Able To Pass A Comprehensive Background Check, Including Criminal History And Child Abuse Registry Checks.
