  1. Conduct thorough analysis of existing business systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements and understand business needs in order to develop effective and efficient system solutions.
  3. Design and develop new business systems or enhancements to existing systems, including creating detailed requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  4. Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure they meet functional and technical specifications, and work closely with developers to resolve any issues.
  5. Write and maintain system documentation, including user guides and training materials, to facilitate smooth implementation and ongoing support.
  6. Provide ongoing support for business systems, including troubleshooting issues, answering user inquiries, and making necessary updates or modifications.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business systems analysis, and make recommendations for process improvements and new technologies.
  8. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
  9. Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and management, and escalate any issues or concerns as needed.
  10. Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  11. Train and mentor junior business systems analysts and provide guidance and support as needed.
  12. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to business systems and data management.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to business systems analysis to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Represent the State of New York in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Business Systems Analysis Role.

  • Knowledge Of Various Business Processes And Systems, Including Erp Systems And Project Management Methodologies.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Gather And Interpret Complex Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
