
Biologist 1 (Aquatic)

- Develop and implement conservation strategies to protect and enhance aquatic ecosystems.
- Collaborate with other team members, stakeholders, and organizations to promote conservation and sustainability efforts.
- Monitor and assess the health and population of aquatic species.
- Identify and address potential threats to aquatic life and ecosystems.
- Conduct fieldwork, including but not limited to, surveys, sampling, and data collection.
- Use various methods and technologies to study aquatic life, such as tagging, tracking, and remote sensing.
- Communicate research findings and recommendations through written reports, presentations, and public outreach.
- Stay up-to-date with current research, techniques, and regulations related to aquatic biology and conservation.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of research and data.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ethical standards in all aspects of work.
- Participate in the development and review of policies and regulations related to aquatic life and conservation.
- Use statistical analysis and other methods to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Train and supervise interns or other staff members on fieldwork and data collection techniques.
Bachelor's Degree In Biology Or Related Field
Knowledge Of Aquatic Ecology And/Or Marine Biology
Familiarity With Sampling Techniques And Data Analysis Related To Aquatic Environments
Experience Working With Aquatic Organisms And Their Habitats
Strong Communication And Report Writing Skills For Presenting Findings And Recommendations.
