- Represent the state of New York in civil litigation matters.

- Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases and provide guidance to other legal professionals.
- Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Appear in court and argue cases on behalf of the state.
- Review and analyze evidence and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact civil litigation.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and professional responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
- Advocate for justice and uphold the principles of fairness and equality.
- Conduct negotiations and settlements when necessary.
- Effectively manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Active Membership In Good Standing With The New York State Bar Association.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Civil Litigation, Preferably In A Governmental Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of New York State Civil Laws And Regulations.
Excellent Written And Oral Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Draft Legal Documents And Argue In Court.
