- Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to treatment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, as well as complete necessary documentation and reports.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress towards treatment goals, making adjustments as needed.
- Educate clients and their families on addiction and mental health disorders, as well as provide resources and support for ongoing recovery.
- Stay updated on current research and trends in the field of addiction and mental health to continuously improve services.
- Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and develop treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of need.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Comply with all ethical and legal standards, as well as agency policies and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Psychology, Social Work, Or Counseling
Certification As A Certified Alcohol And Drug Abuse Counselor (Cadc) Or Equivalent From A Recognized Accrediting Body
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Providing Counseling Services To Individuals With Substance Abuse Disorders
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches For Addiction, Such As Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy And Motivational Interviewing
Familiarity With State And Federal Regulations Related To Addiction Treatment And Confidentiality Laws
