Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Graphic Design, Web Design, Or A Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Is Essential For A Full-Time Instructor Of Graphic And Web Design At State Of Louisiana. This Qualification Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Design Principles And Technical Skills.

  • Extensive Experience In Graphic And Web Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Graphic And Web Design. This Experience Should Include A Portfolio Of Successful Projects, Showcasing A Diverse Range Of Design Skills And Techniques.

  • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Software: A Full-Time Instructor Of Graphic And Web Design At State Of Louisiana Must Be Proficient In Industry-Standard Software Such As Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), Html, Css, And Javascript. This Knowledge Is Crucial For Teaching And Staying Current With Industry Trends.

  • Teaching Or Training Experience: While A Strong Background In Design Is Essential, Experience In Teaching Or Training Is Also Highly Desirable. The Candidate Should Have The Ability To Effectively Communicate Design Concepts And Techniques To Students And Facilitate Their Learning.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Full-Time Instructor, The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Deliver Lectures, Provide Feedback And Constructive Criticism, And Collaborate With Colleagues And Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
