  • Conducting thorough and accurate audits of the state's financial records to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
  • Reviewing financial statements, budgets, and other financial documents to identify discrepancies and potential areas of risk
  • Collaborating with various departments and agencies to gather necessary information and documentation for audits
  • Analyzing financial data and preparing comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution

  • Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Or Certified Internal Auditor (Cia) Designation

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Financial Auditing, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Auditing Standards, Including Gaap And Gasb

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Findings And Recommendations To Stakeholders.
