Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Applicants For An Equipment Operator Job At State Of Louisiana Must Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Educational Qualifications.

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A Valid Cdl Is Required For Operating Commercial Vehicles And Heavy Equipment In The State Of Louisiana. Applicants Must Possess A Class A Or B Cdl With Appropriate Endorsements For The Type Of Equipment They Will Be Operating.

  • Previous Experience Operating Heavy Equipment: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Operating Heavy Equipment, Such As Backhoes, Bulldozers, And Excavators. This Experience Should Be Verifiable Through References Or Work History.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Regulations: The State Of Louisiana Prioritizes Safety In All Its Operations, And Equipment Operators Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations When Operating Heavy Equipment.
