- Lead and coordinate various environmental health initiatives to protect and improve the health of Louisiana's citizens.

- Conduct research and analyze data to identify environmental health concerns and develop effective solutions.

- Represent the state of Louisiana at conferences and meetings related to environmental health.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of environmental health activities and outcomes.
- Serve as a point of contact for environmental health inquiries and concerns from the public.
- Work closely with other departments and agencies to coordinate efforts and address cross-cutting environmental health issues.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for environmental health emergencies.
- Act as a liaison between the state government and federal agencies regarding environmental health matters.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines for environmental health programs.
- Participate in the development and revision of environmental health policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor new environmental health staff members.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks on environmental health data and reports.

Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Public Health, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Environmental Health Research And/Or Program Coordination.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Environmental Health Regulations And Policies.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.
