  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with funding organizations, both public and private, to secure grants and other sources of funding for state projects and initiatives.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential funding opportunities and determine the best approach for securing those funds.
  3. Collaborate with state agencies and departments to understand their funding needs and develop strategies to meet those needs through grants and other resources.
  4. Write and submit high-quality grant proposals and applications, ensuring they meet all necessary requirements and deadlines.
  5. Manage the entire grant application process, including tracking and reporting on the status of submissions and ensuring compliance with all grant requirements.
  6. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including state officials, community leaders, and potential funders, to promote the state's goals and objectives and build support for grant proposals.
  7. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of potential funding sources, including their requirements, deadlines, and past funding history.
  8. Monitor and analyze grant opportunities and trends, providing strategic recommendations to maximize funding potential for the state.
  9. Prepare and present reports and presentations to state leadership and other stakeholders on the progress and outcomes of grant activities.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in grants and development, continually seeking opportunities for professional growth and development in this field.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the state and external funding organizations, representing the state's interests and advocating for its needs.
  12. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to grant writing and development activities.
  13. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all grant activities, including budgets, expenditures, and outcomes.
  14. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to grant writing and development.
  15. Actively participate in meetings, conferences, and other professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to grants and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Or Public Administration.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Grant Writing, Grant Management, And Fundraising For A Nonprofit Organization Or Government Agency.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Grant Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders And Potential Funders.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Securing Grants And Donations, As Well As Managing And Reporting On Grant-Funded Projects.
