- Conduct thorough and comprehensive audits of our organization's operations to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Identify any potential compliance violations and work with relevant departments to develop solutions and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and data related to compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees to promote understanding and adherence to laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations and communicate any updates or changes to relevant departments.
- Prepare and present reports on compliance findings and recommendations to management.
- Investigate and respond to any compliance-related complaints or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance activities.
- Monitor and track progress on corrective action plans to ensure compliance.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding compliance-related questions and concerns.
- Participate in meetings and trainings related to compliance and ethical standards.
- Continuously review and assess the effectiveness of our organization's compliance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other compliance examiners and departments to share best practices and promote a culture of compliance.
- Adhere to all ethical standards and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Uphold the reputation of the State of Louisiana by promoting a culture of accountability and ethical behavior.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Compliance Or Regulatory Examination.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To The Industry Being Examined.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Present Findings And Recommendations To Management.
