- Assist individuals in creating resumes, cover letters, and other job application materials.
- Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback and coaching to help individuals improve their interview skills.
- Collaborate with employers to identify job opportunities and develop partnerships for job placement.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress towards career goals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry changes and advancements in career development and job placement.
- Provide support and guidance to individuals during the job search process.
- Network and participate in community events to promote career services and build relationships with potential employers.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide comprehensive support to clients.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations related to career services and job placement.
- Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of career development programs and make necessary improvements.
- Communicate regularly with team members and supervisors to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Counseling, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Career Counseling, Job Placement, Or Workforce Development.
Familiarity With Louisiana's Labor Market And Job Opportunities.
Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Organizational Skills.
Ability To Work With Diverse Populations And Provide Effective Career Guidance And Support.
