  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for various social service programs across the state of Illinois.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of the social service programs, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  3. Lead and manage a team of social service professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  4. Collaborate with community partners, including other government agencies, non-profit organizations, and local businesses, to identify and address the needs of the community.
  5. Monitor program budgets and expenditures to ensure financial sustainability and compliance with state regulations.
  6. Evaluate program outcomes and make necessary adjustments to improve services and achieve program goals.
  7. Stay informed about current social service trends and best practices, and incorporate them into program planning and implementation.
  8. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including program participants, staff, and community partners, to maintain positive relationships and gather feedback for program improvement.
  9. Ensure program compliance with all state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  10. Represent the state of Illinois and the social service programs at conferences, meetings, and other events.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Social Work, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Program Management, Preferably In The Field Of Social Services.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Policies And Regulations Related To Social Service Programs.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Agencies And Stakeholders.

  • Experience In Budget Management And Grant Writing.
