- Assist in managing retirement benefits for State of Illinois employees.
- Learn and understand all aspects of retirement benefits, including policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding retirement benefits inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee retirement benefits.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills related to retirement benefits.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely processing of retirement benefit requests.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate retirement benefits processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders regarding retirement benefits.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations related to retirement benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of retirement benefits materials and resources.
- Attend meetings and training sessions to stay informed about any changes or updates to retirement benefits policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees and other stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Human Resources, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Retirement Benefits Programs, Policies, And Procedures.
Strong Customer Service And Communication Skills.
Ability To Analyze And Interpret Complex Retirement Benefit Regulations And Laws.
Previous Experience In A Human Resources Or Benefits Administration Role Preferred.
