  1. Conduct recruitment activities and attract top talent for various positions within the State of Illinois.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, job fairs, and other organizations to source candidates.
  3. Utilize various recruitment methods, such as social media, job boards, and networking, to reach a diverse pool of candidates.
  4. Screen and interview potential candidates to assess their skills, experience, and potential fit for various roles.
  5. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide guidance on effective recruitment strategies.
  6. Conduct career counseling sessions with employees to assess their career goals and provide guidance on career development opportunities.
  7. Assist employees in creating professional development plans and provide resources and support to help them achieve their goals.
  8. Stay updated on current industry trends and best practices in recruitment and career counseling.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment and career counseling activities.
  10. Participate in career fairs, workshops, and other events to promote career development and employer branding.
  11. Provide guidance and support to employees during job transitions or career changes.
  12. Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure a positive candidate and employee experience.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment and career counseling processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Act as an ambassador for the State of Illinois and promote our mission to empower the workforce.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Psychology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Recruiting And/Or Career Counseling.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Employment Laws And Regulations.
