  1. Lead and manage the development of new products and services for the State of Illinois, from concept to launch.

  3. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful product launches.
  4. Utilize creative thinking and problem-solving skills to drive innovation and continuous improvement in product development processes.
  5. Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and potential areas for improvement.
  6. Work closely with stakeholders, including state agencies, to gather requirements and ensure products meet their needs.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to support product development and delivery.
  8. Monitor and report on product performance, including sales, customer feedback, and market trends.
  9. Ensure products comply with state regulations and standards.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and trends to inform product development strategies.
  11. Train and mentor junior product development team members.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop effective product launch strategies and campaigns.
  13. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  14. Present product updates and proposals to senior management and stakeholders.
  15. Contribute to the success of the organization by actively participating in team meetings, sharing insights and ideas, and promoting a positive work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Product Development, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.

  • Strong Project Management Skills With The Ability To Coordinate And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
