
Permanency Specialist

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all case activities.
- Collaborate with community resources to provide support and services to children and families.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills related to child welfare and permanency planning.
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the permanency process, including children, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in working with children and families.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and cultural competence.
- Assist in recruitment, training, and support of foster and adoptive families.
- Act as a liaison between child welfare agencies and other community organizations to promote collaboration and improve outcomes for children and families.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Child Welfare Or Adoption Services
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Child Welfare And Permanency
Experience In Developing And Implementing Permanency Plans For Children In Foster Care
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Various Stakeholders, Including Birth Families, Foster Families, And Court Personnel.
