Job Description

Welcome to the State of Illinois! We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Specialist for our Print Shop and Graphic Design department. This role will be responsible for providing administrative and design support to our team, ensuring efficient operation of the print shop and delivering high-quality graphic design materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print production, graphic design, and project management. If you are a creative problem-solver with a passion for design and a knack for organization, we would love to have you join our team!

  1. Provide administrative support to the Print Shop and Graphic Design department.
  2. Assist with the organization and management of print production projects.
  3. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop creative design ideas and concepts.
  4. Create high-quality graphic design materials for various projects.
  5. Ensure efficient operation of the print shop by maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and managing equipment.
  6. Manage project timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  7. Utilize design software and tools to produce high-quality and visually appealing designs.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to gather project requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  9. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the design and production process.
  10. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design and print technology.
  12. Adhere to brand guidelines and standards for all design materials.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain positive relationships.
  14. Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members.
  15. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the team and department.
