  1. Act as the primary point of contact for individuals and businesses seeking assistance with navigating the state's healthcare marketplace.
  2. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the state's healthcare marketplace, including insurance plans and enrollment processes.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with qualified insurance brokers to ensure a wide range of options for individuals and businesses.
  4. Conduct outreach to potential clients and educate them on the benefits of utilizing the state's healthcare marketplace and working with a qualified broker.
  5. Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as government agencies, insurance companies, and community organizations, to promote the state's healthcare marketplace and broker services.
  6. Evaluate and assess the needs of individuals and businesses to determine the best insurance options for them.
  7. Facilitate the enrollment process for individuals and businesses, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  8. Provide ongoing support and assistance to individuals and businesses throughout the enrollment process and beyond.
  9. Keep detailed records of all interactions and assist with data analysis to track the effectiveness of the marketplace broker program.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and laws.
  11. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
  12. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies for improving the marketplace broker program.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  14. Represent the state of Illinois in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Insurance Brokerage Or Related Field.
