- Perform regular maintenance tasks on power plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on various systems and components, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Monitor and inspect equipment for any signs of wear and tear, and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify and implement process improvements for better efficiency and productivity.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks, time taken, and parts used.
- Order and maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and equipment for maintenance purposes.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Train and mentor new maintenance team members to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements to continuously improve maintenance processes.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Maintenance Or Operations Within A Power Plant Setting
Knowledge Of Electrical, Mechanical, And/Or Plumbing Systems
Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals And Blueprints
Possession Of A Valid Driver's License And Ability To Pass A Background Check And Drug Test
