  • Oversee a team of Juvenile Justice Youth & Family Specialists, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure effective and compassionate care for at-risk youth and families
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the delivery of services to youth and families involved in the juvenile justice system
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in juvenile justice and use this knowledge to inform and improve team practices
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members
  • Collaborate with other agencies, organizations, and community partners to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to serving youth and families
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records and data related to the team's work, including progress reports, case files, and statistical data
  • Serve as a liaison between the team and upper management, providing regular updates and recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and laws related to juvenile justice and child welfare services
  • Handle any escalated or complex cases, providing support and guidance to team members as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with youth and families, team members, and external partners.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Working In The Juvenile Justice System, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Role.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Pertaining To Juvenile Justice, Child Welfare, And Family Systems.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Professionals.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Diverse Stakeholders And Handle Difficult Situations With Sensitivity And Tact.
