We are currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as a Human Services Casework Manager.As a Human Services Casework Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of caseworkers in providing vital assistance to vulnerable populations across the state. Your expertise and leadership will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support.To excel in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of social service programs and policies, as well as the ability to effectively manage a team and navigate complex and sensitive situations.   1. Lead and manage a team of caseworkers to provide effective and compassionate support services to vulnerable populations in the state of Illinois.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the casework team, including delegating tasks, setting goals, and monitoring progress.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the delivery of services and ensure that client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Stay current on social service programs and policies to ensure compliance and provide guidance to the team.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to enhance and expand the services offered by the Human Services Department.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to caseworkers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  7. Handle complex and sensitive cases by providing guidance and support to caseworkers and making appropriate decisions.
  8. Ensure that all client records and data are accurately maintained and confidentially handled in accordance with department policies.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, community partners, and other stakeholders to promote the department's mission and goals.
  10. Participate in relevant meetings, trainings, and conferences to stay informed about best practices and trends in social services and apply them to the department's work.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Casework Management Role

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Human Services And Social Work

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Working With Clients, Staff, And Other Stakeholders

  • Strong Leadership And Organizational Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Multiple Cases Simultaneously
