  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of financial reporting for the organization.
  2. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  4. Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance in financial reporting.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure consistency in reporting.
  6. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  7. Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  8. Manage a team of financial analysts and provide guidance and support in their professional development.
  9. Identify and implement solutions to potential financial reporting issues or discrepancies.
  10. Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's financial goals and objectives and make data-driven decisions to support them.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the organization and external auditors during financial audits.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on financial reporting and address any concerns or questions.
  14. Represent the organization in a professional manner and uphold its values and standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field

  • Cpa Or Other Relevant Professional Certification

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Financial Reporting, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Organization

  • Strong Knowledge Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And Governmental Accounting Standards Board (Gasb) Requirements

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Supervise A Team And Effectively Present Financial Information To Stakeholders.
